With a total package of $220k – $250k, this is an opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role within a respected builder that values precision, teamwork, and technical excellence. The Opportunity As Project Manager or Senior Project Manager (depending on experience), you’ll report directly to the Construction Director and take ownership of one or two concurrent projects, depending on scale and complexity. You’ll lead a dedicated team, overseeing project delivery, client engagement, financial performance, and the professional development of your staff. The focus is on complex, high-quality builds, typically valued between $10M and $40M, with this role specifically targeting projects $15M and above. Due to ongoing project wins in this specialist space, you’ll be establishing and leading a new project delivery team within the business, working alongside five established teams already in operation. You’ll be supported by experienced Construction Managers, strong systems, and an organisation that backs its people to deliver at their best. Does This Suit You? This role will suit an experienced construction professional who: Has delivered technically complex projects such as hospitals, laboratories, research facilities, or heritage refurbishments. Enjoys mentoring and developing Contract Administrators and Site Managers, creating capable, cohesive teams. Brings a collaborative and composed leadership style, with the communication skills to manage clients and consultants confidently. Values structure, accountability, and strong team culture. Demonstrates career stability and clear evidence of commitment to past employers — frequent job changes will not align with the business’s expectations. Should You Apply? You’ll be a strong fit if you: Have 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within a commercial head contractor (buildings, not civil/infrastructure). Have successfully delivered projects above $15M, ideally in health, education, or institutional sectors, for a commercial building, head contractor Possess a strong technical understanding and attention to detail, with proven ability to manage budgets, program, and quality. Are confident in managing stakeholders at all levels and leading a delivery team. Present with polish, professionalism, and strong leadership presence.
